South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Endorses FCWA

The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was among the latest Chambers of Commerce to join the coalition working to pass the Florida Competitive Workforce Act this week. 

They were joined by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and a group of iconic Little Havana businesses who announced their support for the effort, which would prohibit discrimination against LGBT Floridians and help our state’s workforce continue to compete in an evolving global and national economy.

Lopez“Passing the Competitive Workforce Act will provide consistency for employers and employees across the state, and the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce supports this endeavor to enhance Florida’s business climate,” said Liliam Lopez, president and CEO of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which represents nearly 1,300 members.
